The City of Vale is looking for two dedicated individuals to join our Public Works Committee. This is an excellent opportunity to play an active role in shaping our community’s infrastructure and improving the quality of life for our residents.
About the Public Works Committee
The Public Works Committee advises the City Council on matters related to public works, including infrastructure maintenance, improvements, and development. The committee focuses on essential services like water systems, streets, parks, and public buildings.
Responsibilities
- Review and provide input on public works projects and policies.
- Collaborate with city staff to identify and prioritize infrastructure needs.
- Make recommendations to the City Council on public works initiatives.
- Attend regular committee meetings at 5pm on the 1st and 3rd Monday of each month.
Qualifications
- Are residents of Vale, OR.
- Have an interest in public infrastructure and community development.
- Are willing to volunteer their time and work collaboratively with others.
- No specific expertise is required, but experience in construction, engineering, or related fields is a plus.
