Seeking Committee Members

The City of Vale is seeking Six (6) community members to serve on a committee to review and update the Vale City Charter. The City Charter serves as Vale’s foundational governing document. Periodic review ensures that it reflects current laws, best practices, and the needs of our community. The Charter Update Committee will examine the existing charter, consider potential revisions, and make recommendations to the City Council for consideration.

We are looking for individuals who:

  • Reside or own property in Vale City Limits
  • Have an interest in local government and civic engagement
  • Willing to participate in thoughtful discussion and collaborative decision-making

The committee will meet once per month on the 4th Tuesday at 6:00 p.m., beginning April 28, 2026.

Meetings will be held at Vale City Hall unless otherwise posted.

The committee’s goal is to present recommendations to the City Council upon completion of its review.

This is an important opportunity to help shape the future governance of our community.

  • If you have questions, please contact Vale City Hall at 541-473-3133 or email tfuller@cityofvale.com
  • If you are interested in serving on the committee, send a letter of interest to tfuller@cityofvale.com
  • Letters of interest will be accepted until April 17, 2026

We appreciate your interest in serving the City of Vale and helping ensure our charter continues to effectively guide our community.

Sincerely,

Todd Fuller
