The City of Vale is seeking a part time assistant Librarian for the Emma Humphrey Memorial Library. This position reports directly to the head librarian. Duties include, assist with book check in/out process, organizing, cleaning, answering questions, shelving books, assist with special programs, open and close, handle money, and other duties as assigned.
This is a part time position not to exceed 5 hours per week. Pay is $12.00 per hour.
High School Diploma or GED required for the position. Prior Librarian experience preferred but not required. Background checks will be required.
