The planning commission is scheduled to meet October 9th, 2023 at 6pm to review a Conditional Use Application submitted by Dave Roberts and Ryan Vandecouvering. They are requesting “conceptual approval” of a multifamily housing complex
consisting of six triplex/fourplex buildings located on 2.49 acres on Tax Lot 1500, Malheur County Assessor’s Map No.
18S45E19DC. The Platted Subdivision is the “Northwest Townsite First Addition,” and locally known as the “labor
camp” property. This area is a platted, yet undeveloped parcel located to the East of Elm St. In Vale, Oregon.
