Fiber optics Line Installation

A fiber optics drilling company is currently working in the city of Vale to install fiber optics lines throughout the city. Before any digging or drilling can begin, a locate, through the 811 dig line, must be completed to mark all utilities in the ground in the area of construction. This means you may see paint lines near or in your yard so the construction crews know what utilities are in the ground and the location when drilling or digging. All work is being completed in the city right-of-ways. Below is a map of the location where lines are going to be installed.

The white lines going to homes on the map will only occur if or when a resident wants to connect to the fiber optic network.

Once the fiber optics are installed, homeowners will have the option to bring the fiber to their own for High Speed Internet access.
