URGENT WILDFIRE ANNOUNCEMENT

Dear Vale Community,

The recent wildland fire activity is taking aim at our local community. The Cow Valley fire is currently burning Northwest of Vale with multiple agencies using ground and air support. The State Fire Marshal has established incident command centers at the Vale Middle and Elementary Schools.

Bureau of Land Management (BLM) is also establishing an incident command center and fire camp in the City of Vale at Wadleigh Park and the Rodeo Grounds.

Please refrain from visiting Wadleigh park and the rodeo grounds.

Once the park and rodeo grounds are ready for public use again, the city will post a message on facebook and the city website.

The Vale Swimming Pool is open regular hours.

Cottonwood Park is available for public use.
