The Downtown Beautification Grant is a pool of money for businesses and apartment owners within the downtown area of Vale to apply for matching funds up to $5,000 for the purpose of visual improvement.
Grant Details:
- Maximum grant amount not to exceed $5,000.
- Grant only available to commercial businesses and apartment owners within the downtown area of Vale.
- Owner of the real property or the business owner only may apply.
- Grant to be used only for exterior of building or landscaping.
- Plan must be approved by the Vale Design Review Committee
- Grant funds to be distributed by the city only to reputable 3rd party contractors who have performed the work in accordance with the approved plan or to applicant when proof of work and cost is supplied.
- Grants may only be used for improvements made after the date of application.
- Grant funds may be matched by application or loan funds borrowed from the RLF program offered with this grant.
